nHANCER

Postby Flying Trucker » Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:58 am

Goodly morning all... :)

When I was using Vista it would show nHancer settings but now with Windows 7 it does not.

nHancer shows in Program Files and there is an icon on the Desktop but that is it.

Does nHancer work with Windows 7?

Thanks in advance... ;)

The problem is not Windows 7 but the last few sets of drivers from Nvidia I believe.

Anyway, nHancer's day are over. Nvidia Inspector does a better job settuing up FSX.

I agree. Setting up nHancer requires a firm resolution not to give up at the first or thirty-fifth failure, it's as intuitive as political squabbles and user friendly like a manual written in ancient Aramaic with side notes in Copt. Yet we all still owed it it the correct functionality of our video cards, in the past, seen Nvidia has always been of as little help as humanely possible on the matter of making life easier to their customers.

Since the new Nvidia Inspector seems easier to set up (going by the general consensus, at least), go for it. Personally, I have yet even to install it, as I already have everything set up properly and I'm not going to risk putting everything in jeopardy (if a thing works well, do not touch it), but I'll probably end up using Nvidia Inspector next time some tweaks will need to be done. :)
There is no such a thing as overkill. Only unworthy targets.

Hi Doug,

You might want to give a try to NVidia Inspector, in case NHancer still refuses to work.
I'm using the NVidia drivers 280.26, with NVidia Inspector 1.9.5.5 on Windows 7 64 with an NVidia GTX 480, and it works perfectly :)
