Hi all, I am experiencing a major problem with a sound file within FSX and hope that somebody can please help me with it. Could anybody please tell me where within FSX the sound or .wav files are that relate to a particular airport. My problem is that after I have spawned at Bristol International Airport - EGGD and am anywhere within the confines of the aitport, the basic background sounds are so loud that I have to turn the sound feature off to be able to hear anything on teamspeak. It would seem that what or where ever the particular sound/.wav file is that relates to this airport is set incorrectly for the volume that it generates and I would like to be able to adjust the settings for it to be at a reasonable level of sound. The noise is of the background noise of trucks, generators, ground units, and other general background noise found at most airports, but in my particular case it is only happening at EGGD Bristol Int UK. It does not matter if, the scenery is set to default or UK2000 Bristol Free, the only way I can use this airport is with the complete sound setting switched off. I have so far checked using Windows Explorer if there is such a file that relates to sound for EGGD in FSX, and it tells me that no file exist's. So I can only assume that it is either a hidden file or it is such a place that is hard to get to. And why is it that this airport is the only one in FSX that has this problem. I have just recently had to do a total re-install of everything back into my computer, even with a fresh install of Windows 7, after serious issue with old registry become unstable. But this issue was even in my old system as well, but it is an issue that is getting the better of me and I would like to be able to rectify this particular issue to better enjoy things, like being able to hear other people and ATC on teamspeak when flying with a group and not having to have to turn the sounds off completely.

The airplane is just a bunch of sticks and wires and cloth, a tool for learning about the sky and about the kind of person I am when I fly. An airplane stands for freedom, for joy for the power to understand and to demonstrate that understanding. Those thi
