Quick question about the Project Airbus A380

Postby Dave71K » Sun Aug 28, 2011 1:56 pm

Hey everyone!

I've been flying the Project Airbus A380 recently and all is good, however when I try to land I find the plane has far to much lift.
For example if I approach an airport with no wind and full flaps (with a decent amount of fuel on board) at around 140-160kts which is comparable to the approach speed of a a340 or 747 I end up having to pitch down to 5 degrees to get the a380 to descend at all.
To approach and descend at a pitch I'd expect to be normal (slightly nose up) I have to fly the a380 at around 120kts which to me seems far to slow for this size of aircraft.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I doing something wrong?

Cheers!  :D
