Extra Views

How can I get custom views if the aircraft doesnt have any? I see a lot of cool views in screen shots, and in videos like this one:

I would really like to know how you can get angles like that or the free camera veiw that makes it look like its completly independent of where the plane is, no matter what its doing.

You can put them in your aircraft.cfg just look at the default planes under views and you will find them
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

The video's author described the software and method he used....

The formation flights and prerecorded flying scenes were created[ch65279] using FSRecorder (freeware). Just so that there is no ambiguity, I flew each of the aircraft... no special programming. All video was shot using Fraps and my head tracking hardware/software

FS-Recorder-freeware-http://www.fs-recorder.net/-an enhanced replacement for the default 'Flight Video' recorder. You can also define additional cameras in VC, Tower and Spot views, including fly-by.

Fraps-Video capture-freeware/payware-http://www.fraps.com/-My guess is he uses the payware version as there is no 'Fraps' watermark. The freeware version has a 30 sec. limit for each clip, but you seldom use clips longer than 30 sec.

Basically you create and record flights

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
