Grumin goose missing gauges

Postby michaleen » Wed Aug 10, 2011 6:55 pm

Hi All,
My Grumin Goose G21A is missing all guages from the panel.
Does anyone know where I can get them from and how to install them.
Any help most appreciated.

do a repair install. that should get them back for you.

'GRUMMAN'

Try searching your FSX folder for a file called Grumman_Goose_G21A.cab

You may have accidentally moved it.

If you find it place it into your Grumman Goose panel folder.

Otherwise maybe someone will send it to you. It's not a big file.

Thanks for that. Tried a repair install and no difference.
Could anyone send me the panel file for the Grumin Goose and while I am at it also for the panel for the Maule M7 260C Ski which is also missing.
Thanks very much

Which version of FSX do you have. If it is standard, the Grumman Goose and Maule are not meant to be flown. Deluxe version has both these aircraft flyable.

;D ;D ;D
I seriously hope you were joking though :-/
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

JoBee, that is a VERY serious accusation to make. It would have been wiser to consult one of the moderators regarding this issue.
If you care to search various other forums you'll find this panel problem is not uncommon.
Now whilst sharing files can be construed as piracy, if it is to fix an issue with a defective product which judging by the sheer amount of people then I'd say it was okay.
What would you say about aircraft made by people using default gauges in them? Is that piracy?
The general opinion is that if you've brought the package you can use the software accordingly, otherwise developers would never get anywhere. Now if it was a payware product with bespoke gauges that'd be a different matter.
However as these are the default ones and he owns a copy of FSX we're not going to have issues with helping one another.
However another wild accusation or slanderous comment could well see you in hot water. I'm locking this thread as a warning to all about this sort of behaviour.
