POSKY 777 sways when cruising

Postby F35LightningII » Thu Jul 28, 2011 11:54 pm

Hi

I've noticed this with all POSKY 777s I've flown. When cruising, it sways left to right. Is it because of high altitude? I typically cruise around FL410 at M0.84. Should I be doing something differently?

I also changed aircraft mid-flight to a Meljet 777 and it hardly swayed at all (the POSKY swayed a LOT). I then changed to the default B744 and it was quite the same as the Meljet. I think POSKY 777s exaggerate the swaying effect - quite a lot, too.

Is there anything I can change in the CFG to fix this?

Have you tried engaging the Yaw Damper in the panel? It just MAY be that POSKY flight dynamics are able to reproduce the Dutch Roll.

There is no such a thing as overkill. Only unworthy targets.

I've had this issue a few times with the POSKY 777, I think it's a altitude issue.
I find it mainly happens when carrying a heavy fuel load and cruising high, it normally resolves it's self if I descend to FL370.
Hope that helps!
