I had a virus on my computer some time ago, and used an AVG trial version to get rid of it, as my Symantec was unable to. Unfortunately, while AVG did remove the virus, it trashed all of my Program Files to a point where they would run but glitch-ally.
After repairing and re-installing all of FSX Acc.'s files, I noticed a problem in the aircraft menu; around the transition from the Project Opensky 777-300ER and Camil Valiquette's 787-3, the thumbnails on all of the aircraft became oddly staggered and partially shuffled. This also occurred when filtering aircraft into larger categories, and when the "transitional" aircraft were removed, and always occurred about 30-50 thumbnails down the list.
Furthermore, some aircraft simply did not appear, either not on the list or unable to be loaded visibly. The downloaded aircraft began working again when I installed new copies of them, but both the C172 and G21A continued to behave oddly when installed right from the disks. The Cessna had skins and models that were detected as missing but weren't, and the G21 simply doesn't appear. These problems still persist when I remove all other aircraft from SimObjects.
So, if anyone has ever seen anything like this before, or has a solution to it (including new base G21A and C172 folders) their response would be much appreciated.
