That's ok, I'll download one and check it out. In the meantime, do you have the DX10 preview
turned on in your settings?

I have heard of it causing texture problems with older models........I've never heard of it messing up prop textures though......still worth trying ;)

If you have DX10 preview enabled.....try disabling it

Is that in FSX or PC? I don't think I've ever seen DX 10 before.

From the main FSX game menu go to settings/customize display settings/graphics
It's  called Directx 10 preview.....make sure it's disabled :)

This is probably a long shot.......

There is no DirectX10 Preview option if you're on WinXP. Only in FSX + SP2/Acceleration on Vista/Win7.

I tried one of the listed files in FSX & apart from the usual bug with FS9 prop discs it works fine for me. (FSX Gold + Acceleration on WinXP) If this is a recent problem try to think of anything you've done to your system since it last worked. Updated video card drivers, changed display settings etc.

Edit. In VC view the prop looks like Chuck79's shot. (See his reply below.) Oddly enough it's transparent in 2D cockpit view.

That's it! Looks the same for me in VC mode. I fixed it by tweaking the Alpha channel on helice.bmp.

PS. I've attached my modified texture to this post. Let's see if this gizmo works.

Edit. Doesn't work. That proves the Attachment feature on this forum is useless.

There is no attachment feature. It was disabled because hackers were uploading hack files.

If anyone has an update they should upload it to the site. Otherwise only about .0001% of our site users will see it here.

Not now. There was earlier when I tried it. ;) I've mentioned disabling it before as it only causes confusion.

This is just a quick fix for JT_Pilot. I've uploaded it to my Lair. Try replacing the original texture with this one --> helice.zip
