Can't add scenery files to new computer FSX.

I have a new hi-powered computer and installed FSX and FS9 and the addon scenery thing won't let me add scenery files. I've used addon sceneries with FS98, FS9 and FSX for the last ten years with no hastle. Does anyone know why they are not accepted now? Is it the Widows 7, 64 bit that won't allow it? Please help.

Yes, it's Windows 7. After you click on OK, left click in the blank area as in the below example.
