OPTIONS MENU FSX GOLD

Postby able211 » Sat Apr 09, 2011 9:23 am

Can anyone tell me how to access the options menu, can't find it anywhere. Think you are supposed to be able to access demo flight videos. Have downloaded the Real World Training chapters of Jeff Van West and Kevin Lane-Cummings book, and referrs to flight videos in there. Any help gratefully received!

Right click the screen and select menu. I'm not sure of a key command.

Hi Steve, thanks for reply, but I haven't got an options menu when right click. I get a menu up for view etc, but no OPIONS MENU within it?
Cheers, Graham Wykes.

The Options menu is on the top menu bar in the 'flight window'- the 'alt' key should display the menu bar. To hide the menu bar, hold down the 'alt' until it hides.

With the menu bar visible click on 'Options' and then 'Flight Videos' to pick from a list of FSX videos stored on your computer. The FSX video files are stored in My Documents\Flight Simulator XFiles\ along with your 'saved flights' and 'flightplans'.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

WONDERFUL. But I'm definately getting old, have used it before!! I'm getting UNABLE TO LOAD FROM FILE notice from that. I haven't recorded any of my own flights, but will go and look in folder, see what's there. Thank you so much for your help, you've made a tiny bit of this world happier!! ME.
HAPPY EASTER.
Graham.
