Engine sound issue, somewhat peculiar

Postby timothy » Sat Apr 09, 2011 3:08 pm

Whatever non jet plane I fly, when I am starting up or worse, closing down after landing, I get the noise of jet engines starting up intertwined with the correct engine noise for whatever aircraft. I have the standard set up and have had FSX for several years now and no add-ons regarding sounds. Any ideas what I can do to switch this annoying error off please ?

Every plane in FSX has its own unique start/shutdown engine sound, which is found in the sound folder of the particular plane in question.

It's a good idea to look over your default flight settings also.

Shure it's not your gyro spooling up or down?
