hello,i have fsx i love it,i recently got fs passengers,im having a tuff time with fs passengers in fsx,everthing is fine intill takeoff,after take off like a min into the flight,it says "flap speed exceeded" and thus a pop up message saying everone died thing,anyone have fs passengers ?,done all checklist stuff before take off,put flaps between 5 degrees and 50 degrees and soon as i take off a min in,i still get "flap speed exceeded"

ive tried doing 5 degrees on take off and then puting flaps back in all way so,i dont have them out at all,then tried it for each degrees up to 50 and pull it back all way so flaps arnt out and i still get flap speed exceeded,

can anyone help ?

when you start fspassengers there is a screen that you can change this
see screen-shot below

when you click on fspassengers and see the 1st screen click on "flight and aircraft settings" (highlighted in red)

then you will see this

click on the drop-down box "Force enable/disable flaps penalty" and change this value from "Automatic (not forced)" to "Force Disable"

then click close and carry on with the other settings as you require, this should work, you can also change the other settings on screen 2 to make things a little more easier to fly.

also its recommended that you only take off with 1 degree of flaps
a few other tips are dont exceed 250knts, dont bank more than 30 degrees left or right, dont have a incline/decline of more than 25 degrees

I use FspX (FS Passanger) since it's release and cannot fly without it, adds great realism.

I might suggest that you use the career mode in FsPx and start flying the smaller birds, cessna 152/172 or smaller pipers.

I also suggest you do some reading about flying, flap speeds are there for a reason.

You can ofcourse disable flap penalty but that takes away the purpose of FsPx.

...and if you learn how to fly like a real pilot you will not get your poor pax killed

ive been following the rules since i posted,and its pretty nice,seems like i go really slow lol but thats okay.

i do plan to do career very soon,i just wanted to figure out why i keept geting flap speed exceeded,if there is a problem and i know i can fix it im going go for it =)

you guys are much nicer then the fs passengers fourms,they were very rude.

I suggest you also use these in your flying:

Knowing the limits and requirements of the type of aircraft you fly is crucial and very fun.

These checklist will ensure that you fly by the book, ofcourse you still need to take some time on correct procedures.

1) Start-up (If your in a cold cockpit)
2) Proper taxi procedures
3) Proper take-off procedures (V1, Rotate, V2, Climb rates, flaps)
4) Proper banking, engine management (props eg. RPM, Manifold pres. and mixtures)
5) Proper climb speeds at relevant altitudes.
6) Proper cruise speeds, navigation knowledge (NDB's, VOR's)
7) Proper decent speeds at relevant altitudes
8) Proper approach speeds (Knowledge on ILS landings)
9) Proper final approach speeds, flaps and engine management (Once again on props the proper mix, RPM's etc)
10) Proper flaring, engaging/disengaging of rev thrust @ correct speeds & the proper application of spoilers.11) Lastly taxi back and securing the AC.
