No Visable Landing gear ?????

HI,

First off, Happy New Tear to all.

I've got a small problem with 2 Opensky 737 downloads. When the plane is on the ground the landing gear is not visible in the picture !! The landing gear is workig as the plane sits at the gate, taxi's, takes off and lands ok but you can't see it !!! could this be something to do with missing textures, I would go into different files and have a look but 1) not sure what to look for, 2) would probably end up with missing engines and wings if I started changing things. has anyone had a similar problem with parts of the plane that are there but not visible, This has now happened with the 737 easyJet and the 737 SAS Opensky add-onns !!!   Any help would be greatly appriciated..........

Hi there. Where did you download these files? Can you give file names & if possible links to the pages they're posted on.

Many Thanks for your reply. The planes in question are: Project opensky 737-600 SAS and the project opensky 737-700 Easyjet. these are both from simviation site in FSX-Civil Jets-page 23. I did try and make a direct link for you but for some unknown reason couldn't.... :-? but I'll sort that out later. Would appreciate any help with this.

Hi Hagar,

I'm running FSX with acceleration and have not had this problem with other downloads. I did remove the SAS from FSX and reloaded it fom your link but with the same results...I can fly the planes but it looks weird as hell when I taxi or land the planes..............could there be something missing from the .cfg file ?

It works fine for me straight "out of the box" so there's nothing missing from the file. (I'm running FSX Gold + Acceleration on Windows XP.) I suspect this has something to do with your system, a display bug of some sort. Unfortunately I haven't encountered the problem before & can't duplicate it on my system. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on it.

Hi Mabelle1, fine for me following install guide.

tried the opensky 737-600.
Only problem I'm getting is the sound effects for the flaps loops on/off for 4 times or so after flaps gauge shows flaps retracted but only after retracting from 1 deg.
FSX Gold acceleration and sdk. DX9.0c

I'm running FSX-acceleration on vista 32 bit but have not come up with this problem before, but as you say it certainly sounds like a bug with the operating system,

EVVFCX,  I have also just noticed the same problem with the flap sound on mine as well !!!
