GPS Navigation

Postby mick1 » Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:03 pm

Does anyone know of a good FSX GPS Navigation tutorial for either lights or heavies? There used to be one a long time ago (I think) on this site but can't find it now.

Thanks
Mick

There's a good one in the FSX Learning Center! But also, just play around with it, that's how I learned mostly.

I've tried fiddling with it but can't figure out how to actually naviage by it and use the multi-page features to the fullest.

Thanks

Hi there, I'm new to SimVation-forum but not the site I  am a full member.

Anyhoo... I couldn't help but notice you'r post. I think I remember that old tutorial-site but think it died a while back :( But what i can suggest to anyone who is serious about FSX or earlier navigation is a 725 page text book called (Microsoft Flight Simulator X Real World Training for Pilots) by " Jeff Van West & Kevin Lane Cummings" A great read :) Check it out on Amazon >>> http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Flight- ... 767&sr=8-2 <<< Would suggest it to anyone whom is struggling with navigation on FSX as it is a bit of a hassle "bit fiddley with a mouse" compared to Real Life.

Anyway hope this helps,
