5870 1GB here...do you use FSX's built in AA and AF? Or do you force it outside of the game through some control panel program?

5870 1 Gb Mobility Radeon here!

I use Catalyst Control Center, and have the following settings:

Smoothvision HD AA: 4X - box

Anisotropic: Set in FSX

Disable AI, advanced

MipMap: Quality

SuperSample AA

With these settings, and the setup as per NickN

[color=#000000]5970 with CCC and ATI Tray Tools. I had all my settings maxed out except for mipmap and was getting smooth 30 fps with no jaggies until AVG ate one of Tray Tools files when I was not looking. I have reinstalled Tray Tools but am no longer jaggie free and can not find the cause or solution.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I just installed this same card and getting jumping screens and only 6-12 FPS.
I opened another topic but can't upload pics to show settings. Will try what you posted and see what happens...
