Concorde

Postby D. Miller » Sat Dec 11, 2010 10:49 pm

I just downloaded a concorde from Simviation and it has some problems (No Sounds, panel missing, etc).  It was from Mr. Libardo Guzman.  It was supposed to be a package to just drop into the airplane folder.  Is this the best freeware Concorde out there?  I don't wanna devote a lot of time trouble shooting it if its not worth the effort.  Does anyone else have a favorite that has a good VC?

Thanks!

Hi,

What file did you download? I am well aquainted with all Libardo's Concordes and they are have vc's etc. The sounds use the default B737 sounds - this is common.

His original FS2004/FSX Concorde requires some extras but one has been more or less set up for FSX (with his permission)

There are two "FSX" downloads: CONCALL and ConX.  CONALL looks like a real pain, so I DL'd ConX, and it worked (It also has an "Engine-start" fix, which is a replacement for the ".air" file)

I had the Conx.  I downloaded to my desktop, unzipped then took the ConX file and put it in Sim Objects--Airplanes.  I also downloaded the engine start fix and replaced that file.  Maybe I will try and download it again.
