I looked up your joystick, but it did not say whether it has a twist handle. If the stick will twist left and right, you just need to set that axis for the rudder. If not, try using the 'INS' (0) and 'ENTER' keys on the number pad. INS for left, ENTER for right. These also control the rudder.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Well, it is of utmost importance to have a joystick that has a twist grip when you don't have rudder pedals.

Landing in heavy crosswinds later with a tube (even a GA)will be impossible with one hand on the stick and the other on the keyboard.

[color=#000000]I agree. But I managed for a long time before I got a stick with twist. Auto rudder helps a little, but not for a heavy crosswind. But if one chooses to fly only in good weather, one can manage without rudder controls. It depends on the amount of realism you want. I did not know what I was missing until I got the twist stick.

Check your FSX Realism settings. I suspect you disabled Autorudder.

[color=#000000]Leave it to the King. I mentioned it in my last post but it never occurred to me that might be his problem.

Thanks it's not a twist rudder joystick. This joystick was given to me a few years ago. I'm looking at buying the saitek flight yoke with throttle and rudder thanks
