Real WX

Postby nichos » Sat Nov 20, 2010 1:26 pm

I used to get fairly accurate present WX in FS9, but in FSX is always broken clouds vis. 50mls, when in fact is 8/8 & low vis.

Do I have to enrol for something extra?

nichos,

The (in)accuracy of rw weather has more to do with the wx server data received than your sim version. Data can be missing or outdated. If there is missing data the sim will try to interpolate from nearest wx stations or, if all else fails, make something up...

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
