Been searching but must be asking wrong questions. I'm probably being stupid but how do I take a screenshot and where do I have to go to find it once it's taken. Hope you will all forgive me for being thick. Thanks Peedy

You can apparently press the "V" key and go through MS Word or MSPaint, but I prefer the following easy-to-use program for screen captures:

In FSX press the V key to take the shot. The location they are saved to will depend on your OS.

In WinXP look in C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\My Pictures\Flight Simulator X Files

In Vista I think the location is C:\Users\your user name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files

The shots will be saved in BMP format. They will need resizing & saving in JPEG format for posting on the forum.
