fsx cfg

I'm brand new at this, so please excuse mistakes. I have a Windows7-64 bit system with i7 2.66ghz.  I have heard that fsx.cfg can be edited to take advantage of the multiple processors. My questions are--how do I find the fsx.cfg file and what do I edit/change to do that?
