Strange desert ground texture on FSX

Hello.
Have used FS9 a bit in the past with apx 75m mesh and was quite happy with it.

Now using FSX, but have a lot of bare[desert type] ground around my airport and back country.
See Attachment in next post;
It should be all grass green.

Is this normal?

How can I make all this bare ground be covered with grass texture?

No Grass around Airport JPEG;

With this file Wheres_the_Grass.jpg (29 KB) you exceeds the maximum allowed upload-directory volume.

Even though it says 150KB is allowed.
