I'm afraid of the North Pole!

I had the wildest FSX adventure today in a A-380. I took off from Fairbanks, Alaska (PAFA) and headed northwest to Wiley Post (PABR) and the flight got VERY interesting in the final 100nm. Thick squished clouds covered the entire area that went right down to the terrain with rain and very thick foggy conditions. The GPS turned useless on me as according to it, I seem to be flying sideways. The whole thing just got weird. So because I didn't take the time to get my navigation skills on point, I got lost in this twilight zone. I started to wonder if the airport even existed. Just as I was contemplating giving up and getting back to civilization, I spotted the airport. It took me about three attempts but I got her on the runway! I feel good that I conquered this without a crash. It looks like a different world way up north and the weather is extreme. I just wonder what if I kept going north? I'm afraid to find out myself. Just thought I'd share that.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
