I don't know about a Tow Rope....

You can increase the strength of water, by adding Bell's Scotch Whiskey to it...

Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

I don't see any need to increase the strength of the tow rope unless you plan on towing a 747.  :o ;D

Does it actually need to be stronger? Did you test it?

It's not what I'm planning on towing, it's what I plan on towing me (e.g. Space Shuttle Atlantis). ;D

Maybe if you had Atlantis accelerate slowly... like say, have an SR-71 tow the spaceshuttle and you up to Mach 4 or so and get up to 100,000 feet, then ignite the rockets. ;D

Of course this relys on some crazy reprogramming of Flight Simulator.
