Is there a way to increase the distance autogen creates trees, etc?

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I think what you're looking for is the draw distance in your FSX settings.

Patchz, no matter what you try, the autogen will not appear very far away.
Even increasing the LOD_RADIUS in the FSX.cfg above the default 4,5 will affect more the FPS (baaadly) than the draw distance.

Something that cause the autogen to appear even closer than usual is the autogen tweak (MAX_TREES, MAX_BUILDINGS). If you have set those values to smaller than default (I set them to 1000 and 500), then the autogen will appear closer, since less objects are allowed to be drawed on the terrain.

Increasing the number of object above the default (4500 trees and 4000 buildings per cell) is possible though, and might increase the drawing distance if you're lucly... but it will also start a nucluear fusion of your CPU and video card  ;D

[color=#000000]I assume you are talking about the 'cloud' draw distance, as I have not seen draw distance mentioned anywhere else. But thanks, you never know unless you ask.
