Funky VC texture

Ok, so it is a FS2004 plane but ive got it working perfectly in FSX, and ive seen similar problems in other conversions but im not sure if theres a fix...

Here it is BEFORE I turn on the lights.






heres AFTER I turn the lights on...is there a fix for this?

No fixes for this one.
This is not the usual transparency issue. If I understood right, this is due to the way the aircraft is modelled, so there's nothing you can do about that.
I hope I'm wrong on this one.
The IRIS Mig 29 has the exact same issue, for example.

guess i just wont do any night flying and ill just fly with the lights off
