no gauges working

Hi I had to reinstall fsx due to problems. I am begginging to add the aircraft that I am downloading.I am  finding that the aircraft is working apart from the pfd and all other gauges are just blank boxes. I have unzipped them and added them to my gauges file pls help........

Which add-on aircraft?  Is it for FSX, or is it an FS9 import?

it should be for fsx i downloaded it in the fsx section. its the 777-300 with the fictional airlines. mind you I had other 777 and they dont work either or should i say no gauges for any of them!!

Which 777-300 package?  I looked and found several that were complete aircraft add-ons, and the one I just downloaded (777-300EXP) did not have a folder of new gauges to add.  The only problem I had was no sound, but that was because they forgot the "\sound" in the "sound" cfg.
