Do I Need to Reinstall?

Recently I added a new entry for one of my repaints, when I did this the screen that shows the aircraft went blank, I did a repair and now FSX won't start up,

I don't know if the disk uninstalled the service packs to FSX so that might be the issue.

Any ideas?

Can you be a bit more specific? Are you getting a error message telling you that the sim is shutting down? Also bfore you did the repair did you remove,

the new entry for one of my repaints
