Please Help

Hi I was having lots of problems with FSX so removed it and have now re installed. In the main screen when doing a free flight I am unable to select the menu bar option for some reason. I have removed the air creation a/c and it said i was in visual only mode is this the reason??? Also am having probs with my traffic x trying to remove this program and it just does not remove it the auto uninstall runs briefly and says it has uninstalled but then nothing happens! Help!!

This also means that i am unable to spped up the simulation rate and also where the ac have no VC I cant get the main panel or any other views! Anyone know how to resolve this pls????

someone else just had the exact same problem that you are facing.   Find and rename your FSX.cfg to something else like FSX.BAK then restart FSX and all should be well.

you will of course have to go back through your settings and reset everything back to what they were, but everything will be reset back to what it was out of the box.

Put it back before taking Capt.Propwash's advice, or you'll only keep having this problem.

Removing the default aircraft is a bad idea, especially when the default starting situation depends on it being there.
