Scenery Compatibility Question

Postby gregj » Wed Jul 14, 2010 10:03 pm

Can FS2004 scenery work in FSX?

I would rather wait for expert opinion as opposed to trying it...I just did a major overhaul on computer.....reinstall OS and all programs now FSX runs pretty damn smooth, track IR works etc.....I am looking for Port Alberni B.C. Scenery specifically and can only find for old FS.

Some sceneries work fine, some don't work at all, and others work but kill the framerates like you wouldn't believe.  A lot of times, its just plugging in the scenery and give it a trial run to see how it fares :)
Cheers,

Didn't work very well.....crashed into an invisible building that wasn't even there...and I know doesn't exist because the jackalope told me when I was comfortably numb........ ;)

Oh well...perhaps I can contact the original scenery author and ask for an fsx update? It doesn't appear to be to big a file but then what do I know?
