Hi everybody
Can anyone please help me solve the following problem.
When I start FSX and get to the Main Free Flight screen
(default aircraft is the Trike Ultralight) the rotating image has separated into 3 or more parts, this is also happening

Hi HD. It might help if you can post a screenshot showing the problem.

Hi Hagar
I think I have solved my problem,
I deleted the FSX CFG file and then let FSX re-instal it.
It left me with a default version, which I am having to ammend to how I had it before.
With hindsite, I should have made a restore point earlier.
Thanks for your help.

regards HD

No, instead of DELETING the fsx.cfg file, you should have simply renamed it...

...then you could have opened up the new and old versions, and cut-and-paste what you wanted from the old to the new...  :D

Recently I have had this problem also.  It has happened in the past a few times, and I have tried all the fixes here.  What finally worked for me, was selecting dx-10 preview mode, restarting and after checking that the aircraft were normal again, unchecked dx-10 preveiw mode and restarted fsx and all is well again

WD Veloraptor drive 150gb for FSX alone.
