Is there an FSX error log and if so, where is it located? Thanks.

The reason I ask is becuase since a series of updates from windows update, I've been suffering fatal errors all the time and the common fix like this:

http://flywestwind.com/communityserver/ ... 31583.aspx

has shown no results. I want to isolate the error like the person who posted this thread, but I don't know how to.

Hi Folks

b-valvs -
Thats data is not from an FSX error log,
it's from the Operating System's Event Viewer - Error Log.

Thank you so much. I found this out:

fsx.exe
   10.0.61637.0
   46fadb14
   atiumdag.dll
   7.14.10.489
   45f8a498
   c0000005
   00002620
   102c
   01cb11a65de64718

I'm off to search it.

Well, after numerous searches the only real answer with my specific error was on the Microsoft Support Forum, but all they had to say was download the latest driver. However, downloading the latest driver for my graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon X1400) is what seemed to cause the problems. I'm not sure what to do.
