POSKY crisis!!!

Postby Capt.S.Prest » Sat Jun 05, 2010 6:26 am

I know this is an unusual request but i really need help. I've been fiddling with the VC i have for the 777 and it's getting really frustrating. I have some 777s that are working with some sort of VC which i have been managing but i'm fed up with them. I went to the POSKY site to download their packages but for some reason, the download never completes. I've contacted my internet provider and they say it's probably the website (i think it's them though) that has a problem. I'm trying to fit a VC into a Qatar airways 777-300ER. The model that came with it is OS773ERV2.mdl.

PLEASE does anyone have a working VC for this model? If anyone does please can you send it to my email address: lilt_02@hotmail.com. or show me any other website i can get the panel from. I'll really appreciate it because i don't see the point of flying that kind of aircraft in fsx with a 2D panel.

posky, from my understanding, are mainly for fs2004.
They will not have fsx models. with VCs until they think they should make them.

OS773ERV2.mdl

That is your problem. That is not a model made to have a vc in it. You need to download this one

VC>300ER (OS773ERV2_VC)
It is on their downloads page
http://www.projectopensky.com/index.php ... showcat=78
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

can you post a screenshot of what u have? My initial guess is that the textures are in the wrong folder

just click on the "upload images" tab at the top of the screen, and make sure the picture is under 150kb and 1024 wide max. once uploaded, just copy and paste the link to your reply.

I'd also suggest not putting your email address in posts, because the web spambots will find that 'at' character, and you'll get a whole load more spam than you bargained for! Better to refer to it with [at] (or similar) in place of the 'at'.

On the 777: I just copied my fully-working FS9 777+VC into FSX and guess what - the VC gauges don't work. Don't know if there's a workaround (don't fly FSX) but if not then you may be stuck with the non-VC versions.

;)
