I don't know about you guys, but I have more fun flipping switches in the cockpit rather than just pressing ctrl+E. I follow the checklist that's included with the IRIS F-15C for FSX (which I downloaded from Simviation), but I can't seem to get the engine running.
Basically, the fans will spin, and the gauges read about 30% rpm, but the engines won't actually ignite. I tried adding throttle but it didn't work.
Here's the steps I go through:
-battery on
-L engine fuel on
-L engine starter and generator
(then the right side)
Now, according to the checklist, the engine generators shouldn't be switched on until after the engine has been started, but when I flip the engine starter, the generator switch simultaneously switches on....
I'm confused.....
