I have a problem.

FSX including FSX Steam version.

I have a problem.

Good morning all... :)

When I type a post here at Simviation the letters in the words look like they were typed by an old well used type writer ribbon.

Some letters are clear and crisp while others are faded.

I have a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX Video Card with the latest updated driver...197.45.

I checked with the Nvidia Site and it said no Driver update necessary.

The operating system is Vista and I have been into the Control Panel to see if I could make changes and did a restart.

The letters still look terrible in the words.

Not sure what else to do.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

from what i can see under your question the whole text is fine to me all the letters look OK. i don't know if it's possible that your screen(monitor) fade away. or is it a question of settings for the monitor.( luminosity, contrast, etc).

Do you think you could print screen it please? Sounds quite odd. :-/

A last minute shot in the dark. Do you have an F Lock on your key board? In a power loss the F lock will revert to off position on some keyboards. I doubt this is the case but who knows? When I copy and paste to simv, If what I see is coloured or odd text size, It's converted to Verdana font size 11 when it shows on the Sim forum page. Might explain why your view is different.

Like I said, A shot in the dark..  :-/

Thanks Steve, I am using a Logitech G15 Keyboard and I have a button to switch from computer to joystick.  The only time I use it is when I am doing a FSX simulated flight and I push it to joystick.
