Mysterious plane crash

Postby RitterKreuz » Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:39 pm

Whenever i fly an airplane - usually an add on airplane - through a thermal.

the plane stops and the screen says "Crash"

strange.

when i disable crashes this obviously fixes the problem.. but is there any other solution?

Tell me this: Are you making any turns, or going at high speeds? You have to sometimes be careful if you have the "Stress causes damage" feature enabled, as it is very easy to stress the aircraft until it is considered "crashed." This is probably not very realistic, which is why I leave the stress feature off.

i do have that option checked. I was in a piper cub at an IAS of about 70 mph

the other occurance was a B-27 at about 140 mph IAS

seems a little unrealistic... perhaps ill just leave the option unchecked :-?
