This, like my recent CRJ-700 release, addresses the problems in the stock A321 when the engines, APU, and battery are all shut down for "cold and dark" operations. Prior to this fix the panel would have holes where gauges were missing, and those gauges that remained had leftovers of text/data.
Another significant area that this fixes is the lower ECAMS gauge which only displayed one screen. It turns out that there are actually seven screens programmed in the ECAS XML file but the Aces team spelled the name of a variable incorrectly, which resulted in the inability to access them. Note that with this fix you can see the other screens in the VC by clicking on the lower ECAS to bring up a larger version. Then you can select the screen you desire using the buttons at the bottom. Another click on the enlarged ECAS make it disappear, but the selected screen is still part of the VC.
As with the CRJ-700 release I have included an optional new gauge that is invisible but is responsible for turning off the landing and instrument panel lights when there is no power in the aircraft (FSX does correctly shut off all the other lights). After all, if there is no power how could there possibly be any illumination? Another reason to automatically shut off the lights is because of a nasty FSX (or A321) bug. Namely, with the power off, some knobs and buttons revert to their daylight appearance while others have the night look - very unrealistic.
Here is part of the Release Notes file that describes what I have fixed:
