FSX process killer

Has anyone used this and if so, does it work properly?
It's the 10th one down on the page.

I think my 8600 GT graphic card is begining to die. If I could stretch another 2 months out of it by shutting more services down temporarily, I'll be in a better position to update some of my hardware.

Your 8600 might be just suffering from dust !
If you're getting a lot of artifact, and game crashes after performance drops, it might be an overheat problem, and the overheat can often be solved by cleaning the heat sink of the card ;)

Also, the card temperature raise because of the stuff she has to draw. The background services are not asking anything to this card, so shutting them down will not help her work longer...

Thanks Daube, I think the card is getting hot, maybe the fan or age.. no dust on it though. My cursor is acting up (shooting across the screen) and my FSX is poor, even after repeating all the tweaks, plus the O&O defrags.
