No panel guages are working!

hey. ive been having nothing but problems since ive been installing addons to fsx. now everytime i load an aircraft, for example aerosofts F-16 and iris's F-14, the HUD, MFDs, and altimeter do not function. they dont even turn on. i made sure all of the avionics switches were on and nothing! any help as to how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!!

on default aircraft too?
If not, then you didn't install the gauges correctly, which could include any error in the readme files.
If so, then you may of accidentally deleted a needed file.

EDIT and are they like black boxes, or not turning on at all but working.

no it does not happen with  the default aircraft that ive tried, but im not sure how to fix the installation, since i just used the .exe files to auto-install. the mfd's and guages appear, but do not function  at all.

then it is how it was installed.
what I would do is create a new folder on your desktop.
Reinstall the aircraft, but this time to that location on your desktop.
Then after that manually install them
I never let auto installers do the job, because they sometimes mess up.
