Just exactly what is the proper use of reverse thrust in FSX?
After you are on the ground, throttle at idle and you press F2 do you then increase the throttle to full power for full reverse thrust or what?

Most Aircraft Manuals will tell you right after touchdown to apply reverse thrust, as much as you need, and after you hit 60 kts, you cancel it and just use your brakes and spoilers.
If I'm not mistaken most Airline pilots try not to use the brakes too often, (Those friction brakes are expensive!) preferring to let the combination of flaps, spoilers, and reversers do the work, and exit the runway to a taxiway at about 25-30kts. Then they add a touch of brakes to bring the aircraft to a stop so that they can perform the taxi-in checklist, and communicate with ground-control.
