FSX Road Traffic

I remember downloading a couple of years ago a utility for
slowing the speed of road traffic in fsx down to a more realistic looking speed.
Any one know if this is still available?

I dunno if there is an automatic tool, but you can do it manually:

the speed of road traffic is indicated in the LWcfg.spb sadly this file is compiled in hex so you'll need a decompiler, there is one here: http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_e.htm

1) download spb2xml.exe file and put it into the fsx main folder

2) in MS-DOS prompt use spb2xml to uncompile lwcfg.spb in this way:

navigate to fsx main folder (in prompt) then write this:

spb2xml lwcfg.spb

3)now you'll have a lwcfg.xml that you can open using your notepad, open it

4)locate this line (it will appear more than once, one for every region):
