Try EVGA Precison. I've had no problems controlling my card,an XFX GTX260,using it. Here's a link to try it,it's free.

Don't really understand the warnings here.
If you're stuck with an OEM PC with no ways to adjust CPU, RAM etc. in BIOS, then Ntune is great, but of course, be careful and keep an eye (or two) on the temps! 8-)
Overclocking the GPU I use EVGA, great tool.

Considering the experience levels of the "geeks" I'd heed their warnings. .
