Well, do you have Acceleration? If so you have SP2, but if you have normal or deluxe, you have no SP's (Assuming you haven't downloaded any of them)

...I guess by looking at the properties of your FSX.exe file. I have a FSX version 10.0.xxxx.xx without any SPs installed so I guess this will change (maybe to 10.1.xxxx.xx for SP1) with installed SPs.

Once you're in the flight window, click the Help>About Microsoft Flight Simulator. The 'about' window will display your FSX version info.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
