Airbus A380-800 Lights Help!!!

Postby venomhatch » Thu Mar 25, 2010 10:06 pm

SIM: FSX
Subject: Lights
Equipment: Airbus A380-800

My question is on my landing lights. They are too far back behind the aircraft. And maybe too low. How or what do I adjust to bring these where they should be? Or what coordinates should I use for the landing lights?

This is what my lights section looks like now.

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 2,  30.669,   0.00, 26.371, fx_beaconb, //nav top,
light.1 = 1,  45.259,   0.00, -2.9167, fx_beaconh, //nav bot,
light.2 = 2, -109.7802,  0.00,  16.22375, fx_navwhih, //nav tail,
light.3=5, -67.40,    -18.5,   -5.9, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.4=5, -67.40,     18.5,   -5.9, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.5=5, -67.40,    -18.5,   -6.2, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.6=5, -67.40,     18.5,   -6.2, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,

Please help, Thanks.

It actually is answered in your previous thread...

The light.3 to light.6 are the landing lights - just play around with the named numbers to see what number corresponds to which axes.

I figured it out as close as I could to the right positions. Includes nose gear and wing lights.

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 2,  30.669,   0.00, 26.371, fx_beaconb, //nav top,
light.1 = 1,  45.259,   0.00, -2.9167, fx_beaconh, //nav bot,
light.2 = 2, -109.7802,  0.00,  16.22375, fx_navwhih, //nav tail,
light.3=5, 45.70,    -23.0,   5.4, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.4=5, 45.70,     23.0,   5.4, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.5=5, 103.00,    -1.0,   -3.5, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
light.6=5, 103.00,     1.0,   -3.5, fx_siroccogtx2_reflectors,
