When you park in the designated spot and press Ctrl + J, the jetway will move into postion and attach itself to your jet. You must have the door open though! And the jetway can be very slow.

Default is Ctrl+J but you can make it any key, or key combo you want.

EDIT: oops! too late!  ;D

But the jetway must already have been generated there though?

Which slider do I use to increase the jetway generation?

In Display settings increase the 'Scenery complexity' slider.

Also, the aircraft.cfg file, [exit] section must be properly configured for the jetway to attach.   You can edit the section if needed. Refer to the [exit] section of a default FSX Boeing for the data needed.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

also, you have to shut your engines off or the Gate Attendant will not pull it up to your craft.

Stop on the line in your designated spot, shut down the engines, open the door, THEN press CTRL+J.

This is the procedural way of calling the Jet Bridge / Jet way.

While we're talking about spots; does the nose wheel stop on the mark ( T ) or do the tandem wheels stop on the mark?

The nose wheel should be on the T.

OK, yeah, but why wouldn't you open the door? How are the virtual passengers supposed to get out?  ;D
