Is there any way to ride in one of the playback aircraft? I recorded a couple of airplanes and wanted to ride in one kind of as a spot plane.

Just choose 'play' and the file recorded from the FSRecorder menu. You can switch between the regular views and using the 'view' option from the top-menu you can change between your a/c and others (like AI, other recorded planes,...)
