hmmm....in nhancer, under options, i have checked..."allow override predefined settings", and me too, i have to check aa in fsx, or jaggies prevail .....am also interested to see a solution
.
I had this problem also. I think it's a bug with nvidia drivers when they don't automatically activate the driver profile. A workaround manually activating a driver profile from within nhancer by going...: TOOLS------>ACTIVATE PROFILE---->MS FLIGHT SIMULATOR X. This will make the required settings work for all 3d applications, so you probably want to change the driver settings back to default after you exit FSX.

Make sure that Enhance in Game AA Settings tab is unchecked, and it should work then.

Enhance ingame AA unchecked and 2.5.7.Did that and it fixed mine. BTW im running Nhancer 2.5.7. Don't know if that makes a diff.

This might be a hugely oversimplified answer, but I do notice in the nhancer images you posted, you have the "MS Flight Simulator X" highlighted in the application list , whereas in Nick's instructions it specifically says to manually type "Flight Simulator X" into the entry box right under "Profiles" and then enter the settings. Perhaps it could be that simple?

As for whether nhancer is working or not, I, too, find it odd that there isn't a "save" option where you know your settings are saved and in use, but when I look at my task manager, I do see that "nHancerService" is listed in my processes.

Return to Flight Simulator X (FSX) and Steam
