REX???

I'm thinking of getting REX, but I don't get the best FPS as is. How much does REX affect FPS?

Also, is there a way you can turn off REX so I can participate in the all-freeware screenshot contests?

Addon sceneries, in my experience,

there is no way to turn it off.   It replaces WEATHER (clouds, sky, sun,), runway/taxiway, and basic land TEXTURES in the FS? / Texture folder.   The only way to turn it off is to go back through and replace all the updated textures back to the original files... then when you want REX again, you basically have to REINSTALL it all over again.

After reading this, I think I'm going to get REX. Already have GEX North America. I've heard so many good things about REX.

REX has a preview pack with a bunch of things you see in rex you can try out and see if that hurts fps any.

Get it! I highly recommend it. One of the best add-ons you can buy.

If you have FPS issues, you can reduce the texture resolution in REX.
