FSX Stuttering in External Views

Alright, so I have installed a brand new copy of FSX Gold Edition on my Windows 7 x64 machine. Everything is running fine and dandy minus a small problem. When using any kind of external view, there seems to be a massive stuttering problem. The FPS seems to remain within playable areas, yet the game still stutters like mad.

I have also been experiencing a BEX related crash, however, that is a problem I am troubleshooting on my own. Anyone have any ideas for the stuttering issue?

Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.6GHZ
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 1066
Radeon 4850 512MB

Have you installed the latest SP from MS? Make sure that you have updated the program before you add scenery or extra planes. Gee I'm getting old.

Yep. I installed Acceleration which has SP2!
