Does FSX show any entries in your logbook? If there is a corrupt entry, FSX may continue to record logs, but will not show any logs after the corrupt entry.
Search the FSX Utilities sections of download sites for 'logbook'.
There are several utilities that can read 'corrupt' logbooks, some will allow you to edit.
Search for 'fsxlog11.zip'. It is a logbook recovery program that scans for corrupt entries and attempts to repair the logbook.
Make a backup of your logbook.bin file( My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files )

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
