FSX Carrier ops

Postby JakesF14 » Wed Feb 24, 2010 4:26 am

Does anyone have info ?? I think the carriers in the default FSX Deluxe is landable, but how about arrestor cables and catapult facilities?  any adoon that could do that? I am new to FSX, and need the addons to get my carriers work in FSX  :-)

Get Acceleration. It will allow you to use the new Tomcat and the T-45 from Dino Cattaneo, as well as the famous Nimitz package, the most beautifull carrier ever created for FS.

The default carrier in FSX Deluxe is quite ugly, and the cables and catapults do not work. I think you might be able to use the RBCO gauges, just like in FS9, though.

You just bought FSX and you didn't choose the Gold version ?
That was not a very good choice :/

Ah that's bad luck then :/
So in the end, you have only two choices:
- investigate about the rcbo gauges for FSX. Sorry I don't use them so I'm not able to give additionnal details. I jst know they exist since I saw some FSX screenshots with them
- save some money for buying Acceleration in some months.
... or both ;)

I have put together a package of FS9 - Carrier Operations Package .... for FSX.  they install much the same way that they do in FS9, and it will come with Arrestor Cables (ArrCab2.6) and pretty much everything that you need for the package.

If you want it, drop me a PM and I'll go dig it out of storage and send it to you.
